Did you know that nearly all European common shelducks use the Wadden Sea to breed, moult, stop-over or winter? Moreover, the annual congregation of up to 200,000 moulting shelducks in a very small area during late summer is one of the most outstanding phenomena in global bird life. Please follow the journey of our “transmitter ducks” Tonja, Kati and Diva on this website!
